I took the dog for a walk this afternoon.  It was grey and drizzly but I managed to get these.

At Home

One of my very good friends was in town for a few days this week.  He was over last night to hang out so I wasn't able to update yesterday (although I did take a few photos).  

New Year at the Butcher's and Home

There's a butcher just up the street from where I live.  I think I'll go back another day and try and get a photo without any reflections.  Atom was a present from my brother for my last birthday.

Late Already...

Not off to a great start.  I was supposed to update daily and I'm already 2 days behind...  On the bright side, I have been keeping up with taking photos.  Although my posts are late, I have been keeping up with the actually taking the photos.  These two were taken on the 24th and 25th, respectively.  Today's photo will be up a little later.

I suppose since these were taken in September of last year that this could be considered as cheating a bit.  But I really like these photos and thought that they would be of more use on here rather than sitting on my hard drive with no one to see them.

New Year's Resolution

I decided to start this blog as a way to force myself to do something creative everyday.  I have enjoyed photography from a young age but as I get older I find that other things get in the way, keeping me from improving my art and being able to express myself within the medium in a way that satisfies me.  "The saddest thing in life is a wasted talent," and while I don't suppose myself to have any great amount of talent, I certainly don't want the amount I do have to go to waste.  So I present The Mystery Reflex: aka - a way to get me off my lazy arse and do something creative.
